(expired link) was immersed in Gospel music since birth,and ever since then, he’s dedicated his life to the source of his talents. A singer and songwriter, GL truly honors and respects the gifts and talents God has given him.

His earliest musical influences came from his home as a (expired link) mothers passion for singing inspired him so much to do the same. "My mother was always singing, while cooking or just getting us ready for school as kids. I didn't really think anything of it at that age I would just listen to how beautiful she sounded.” However, as he grew older, he became influenced not only his mother but by great artists such as those who sang Jazz and R&B, though he never strayed from his passion is gospel music, he says the combination of smooth Jazz and R&B love songs from a radio station he grew up listening too, touched him greatly. By hearing different groups pledge their feelings with such honest and raw emotions, fusing rich harmonies made a deep impression on him.

Throughout his teen years, he was part of a few male singing groups, but ever since the age of 18, GL had a deep desire to continue as a solo artist, focusing his ability to grow as a vocalist and a songwriter. He says it wasn’t an easy feat but as he continued to minister at his church using soundtracks of his favorite artists, that’s when his confidence grew. It was then he took on the challenge of being a songwriter. The first song he wrote was entitled “Truly Yours” it is a testimony to God, that he was truly committed to Him. It was some years later that GL’s musical career as a solo artist took off.

GL possesses a natural charisma, that’s just part of who he is. His presence in his music coupled with the ability to relate to people, has won him recognition and favor with his fans. In fact, his talent as well as his magnetism has lead him to sing with spectacular artists such as Gospel music Legend Marvin Winans, he’s also opened for Legendary Jamaican Reggae artist Frankie Paul as well as singing for Emilio Estefan, husband and super producer for Gloria Estefan. GL has also sung the National Anthem for seven prestigious sports franchises including, the Miami Heat, Miami Dolphins, New York Yankees and the Boston Red Socks to name a few. He’s also made television appearances showcasing his talents on TBN (Trinity Broadcast Network) in 2006 and The Word Network in 2007. As well his talent has been featured in the movies “A Sinners Prayer & “Fighting for Faith”.
