About Godzend (Official)

Godzend is an industrial metal band founded by Byron Ramirez (Drop Z) and his brother Mr. Hombre (famous vlogger in Honduras) 2005 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
The band was crowned champion in a national battle of the bands in 2007. With this title the band set out to record their first album, the same year that Byron Ramírez became the lead voice of the band, Joel Bendeck (alias Zynth) in the synthesizers and Mr. Hombre as the band's drummer.

Over the years, Godzend had several unstable line-ups, stopping the recording and touring plans many times. Fortunately, fresh faces and old friends joined the project. Talented artists such as Enzo Zelaya (Guitar) Gustavo Madrid (Guitar) and Miguel Alfaro (Bass) came to strengthen the sound of the band and at the same time they strengthened the line-up, making it one of the most solid bands on the Honduran scene.

Among the bands that have most influenced Godzend's sound are Korn, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Any Given Day, Wage War and Lamb Of God.
Looking to perfect the sound and with many failed tests to find local studios capable of achieving what they wanted. Some began to study music production and others video production. They created their own recording studio in which their next album is being recorded.
