About Gorbyan

I was born in 1979 to start playing guitar at the age of 12 after hearing the ramones. As a child I was always fascinated by music, colours, light and sound.

I wanted to play bagpipes after seeing a march of bagpipe players... later on with the synthesizer greatest music I wanted to play synthesizer. It were all expensive instruments. Those days in my neighbourhood were no places to study them.
In my village was a music school which I started. After two years I could choose to play an instrument. There were 2 instruments of choice. I choose flute which I didn't like so much after all.

So after hearing the ramones I decided to start playing guitar and teach myself. since then my life changed completely. I played in some rockbands for many years (I still do). At first I started to record some rock songs which didn't fit the bands I was playing and after some time I started to create more the acoustic songs.

So that is where we are now. Nothing virtuoso. ... only playing by feeling and creating vibes. That is why I play music... to create and be in a vibe.

I describe my style today as spiritual tribal trance rock.... I know these are many words but it is difficult to describe.... I could describe it with more words... not with less.... It is only a vibe
