Dear Friends! I have now posted all the 8 songs written by Nerses the Gracious in 12th century as single part melodies, and arranged by me for 3 part choir. They were intended for the morning service at Armenian church. There are 4 main songs, each one succeeded by its fast song, the latter having a simplified text of it's main song. The names of the performers in our recording are: Harutyun Khachatryan, Michael Tovmasyan, tenors, Gagik Martirosyan, bass. They are professional singers from our State Capella. Nerses the Gracious was the leader of Armenian church, and he organized the Armenian church music. He built also relationships with the Byzantine and the Catholic churches.
