Hi everyone - just want to thank you all for your dogged (ha ha) persistency in following what was to all intents and purposes a defunct band, as well as all the working musicians who commented positively to the few songs I have up. I will endeavour to respond by listening to / recommending your stuff later today.
The good news is that myself and the bass player (Andy Bawden) have got together again and have started doing some local gigs. In the absence of a drummer I have created custom drum tracks with Cubase for us so that we can still sound like a 3 piece. At the moment I am using N1M free so can only post 3 songs max. I will be changing them shortly for others and will eventually get round to a proper subscription where I can put up more for you.

For any new subscribers who may not know, Doghaus disbanded a couple of years ago, just wanted to say thanks for your interest but obviously no more new music likely to be posted any time soon. Working on my own I have gone back to writing instrumental stuff rather than songs, as my background includes traditional Scottish music, my first instrument being piano accordion. During lockdown I have released an album of my own tunes, recorded at home and playing everything myself, using accordion, guitars in various guises, mandolins and a banjo. Acoustic bass, fretless bass, cello and drums are provided through the miracle of MIDI. The album is called The Lockdown Sessions and its on Spotify, iTunes etc. Although its basically traditional Scottish stuff (jigs, reels, etc.) it has influences from bluegrass, Cajun and Latin as well as a bit of the blues. It couldn't be further from Doghaus but if you're up for something different, have a listen. All feedback welcome! Thanks again and stay safe.

Hi all - I have replaced one of my tracks with a different one to ring the changes. I am sticking with the 3 free uploads, really don't want to be spending $100 a year on a band that folded almost 3 years ago but nevertheless we still seem to get a lot of plays and likes. If this generates any more interest I'll replace the other 2 tracks that have been on here for some time with others from the album. In the meantime you can download any of the tracks from the Ruff Justice album for free at

We are working on re-recording some of the stuff we did with our former drummer and hoping to have an album's worth by the Spring of next year. Hence no gigs till the new year. Looking at bringing Lucy in to the band to share the vocals and include some better known covers in the hope of making it a bit easier to get gigs. Thanks for your patience and continued support.

All Doghaus songs are now free to download from (expired link). Really can't be bothered with the hassle of putting them on iTunes - if you want any, help yourself, tell your friends and put yourself (and them) forward to join the Doghaus Collective page on Facebook! I never wrote any of the songs with a view to making money, only to share them with anybody who might like the music. Cheers, Graham

Just like to say hi and thanks to all our new subscribers, can't believe we have so many now! We are still battling on as a duo but I have been creating some drum tracks with Cubase for the electric guitar half of our set. 4 down and another 8 to go, will be rehearsing with them over the next month or so and hopefully using them for real thereafter.
