About GREYHEAD

Richard Broersma was born in 1963 in the north of the Netherlands (Europe). The family he was raised in had some specific problems of its own and was in fact a rather hostile invirement for a child. The small community where he was growing up in was in a rather orthodox christian one and as the family was not that "narrow minded" you might imagine what it did to Richards development.

Once at college-age Richard shows not that much respect at the people around him and society in general. He starts writing about his feelings. Looking over the North-See he starts to think about things and aims on music.

However school and family life isn't progressing in a smooth way in he meets an older guy Frits Romer, a rock-musician and singer. In Frits he meets a kind of substitute father and life-guru who teaches him a lot.
Richard takes his lessons serious and starts to play guitar and bass.

Now 35 years later and with a shipload of music and life experience, after that many bands and as singersongwriter still going strong.
