About Griffin
September 7th 1990 Griffin was born. At the young age of two years old the loss of his mother forced him to move from Riverside, CA to Battle Creek, MI to live with his grandparents. Griffin experimented with the idea of creating music from the 7th grade until he entered college. After a couple years of school Griffin decided to take a break from college to pursue his music career full-time. after attending a Ying Yang Twins and Wiz Khalifa concert if he was uncertain about his decision to take a break from school to pursue his dream he was sure now that being a musician is what he wanted to do. In march 2011 Griffin made his first goal come true by opening up for Yung Joc at Club La Vela. September 2011 Griffin created a remix to Wiz Khalifa's "Black And Yellow" called "Brown And Yellow" dedicated to Western Michigan University, overnight the song became a hit getting over thousands of plays and downloads. Shortly after the song released it became popular on Kalamazoo's #1 radio station 103.3 WKFR. In October 2011 Griffin opened up for Big Sean at Kalamazoo's State Theater. Griffin is a firm believer that dreams do come true. He has created over 9 mixtapes in 3 years and has worked with artist's around the country, performing in cities such as LA, Miami and Detroit. Griffin uses his mothers death and his aspirations as motivation to realize his dream. Griffin's artist name is derived from the memory of his mother Cassandra Michelle Griffin. He is still pursuing his dream and eager to make it in the competitive world of the music business as a Hip Hop artist.
