G-Todd is originally from Freeport, IL. He has always been interested in music, beginning with dancing when he was 4 years old. At 13 he began to play drums at his church, and from then on he became interested in making music, not only dancing to it. His musical influences are Timbaland, Dr. Dre, 9th Ward, Run DMC, LL Cool J, Bel Biv Devoe and Tupac. In 1993 G-Todd was a choreographer and dancer for Dog MC. They performed locally and regionally, most notably with MC Breed and Ghetto Boys. After performing with Dog MC, G-Todd formed a rap group called Lo-N-Behold with brother Tone and childhood friend Juice in 1995. In addition to their own local performances they also opened for acts including Roger Troutman and Zapp, Shirley Murdock, Top Authority, Joe, and Spice 1.
