Hadiya Love is one of the most sought after child performers to hit the scene in a long time. She’s a two-time recipient of the prestigious Chicago Music Award for Best Kid Entertainer. Alderman Michael Scott, Founder of the renown Westside Music Festival called her “My favorite new artist.” Music industry veterans in Chicago are referring to her as the “Heir To The Throne” of Chicago’s hip hop scene. She is a unique talent, not because she is 13 years old, plays the violin, and can rap seamlessly in different styles. She is unique because of her ability in the early stages of her career to execute her craft at such a high level.
Hadiya Love has recently wrapped up studio work and has released her new single "Selfie" from “The SwagCheck Experience” that’s crazy fresh! The song is high energy, catch phrase crazy and dance friendly. This is a tune that will have everybody saying "Swag Check!" She debuted the single during the premiere of her SwagCheck Experience Tour 2019 at the 25th Anniversary of The Black Women's Expo 2019 in Chicago, IL. In case your just getting familiar with her music Hadiya Love also has a fabulous hip hop pop record and video called "Cheesecake" it features some her dancers and some really fun lyrics. It was at 8 years old that she hit the scene hard with the critically acclaimed “No Love/Where The Love At.” This song paints a graphic picture of life for young children across inner cities of America who know all too well the struggles of living in a time where trouble lurks on every street corner and in particular, the plague of gun violence. Her lyrics are decisive, passionate and pointed. When listening, Hadiya Love wants her listeners to focus on how they can add some love, for love is the missing ingredient young people need.
Hadiya Love’s talent provides hope and inspiration for the future. Her record “26 Letters” is a great song with a new spin on the alphabet for children. Although she has started her career rapping in hip hop, she refuses to be limited by the title rap artist. Hadiya Love considers herself to be an humanitarian as well as an entertainer; one who teaches, informs and uplifts through rap. Proceeds from the song “Where The Love At” goes towards the creation of a not-for-profit foundation that address the needs of children impacted and slaughtered by gun violence. “People don't realize that children like me have feelings and something to say. It’s scary out there. Who knows how we feel?” says, Hadiya Love.
Hadiya Love feels just as comfortable on a theater stage and film set as she does in front of a microphone. Among Hadiya's interests outside of music is acting. She would love to be on a Disney or Nickelodeon roster to showcase her broad range of skills. She landed a small role in the Jay Davis film released on Maverick Entertainment “Not Another Black Movie.” She has been selected to host a reality series called "Kids Konnect." Kids Konnect takes a trip throughout cities in the (expired link). that shows contributions kids are making to improve conditions for the homeless, elderly as well as discussing social issues and the environment. The program has started filming in the Chicago area.
Grounded in the principle of helping others. Hadiya Love comes from a family with a strong Christian background. She wants to attract and make friends from varying faiths and ethnicities and have them enjoy and relate to her music and community work. She likes bike ride, play volleyball and spending time with relatives, friends, hanging out at the mall and eating ice cream. She is always up for a good game of checkers. Although her passion is entertaining, she takes her education very seriously. She is a super student and loves interacting and with her classmates.

She hopes her music and activism will inspire and motivate other young talented people to stand courageous move out from under their fears and comfort zones so their voices can be heard.
