Having had 8 surgeries on his ears including a skin graph to recreate a ruptured eardrum and cholesteatoma, Jeffrey Hull born February,1982 in Rochester NY, fell in love with recording music at the age of 4 after his father introduced him to a tape deck.
He spent his teenage years playing punk in garage bands. In 2003 after being hospitalized for psychosis he decided to work alone as he ventured into sobriety. He has been clean since 2003.
He broke away from his old crew and moved to Albany NY where he worked for ARC and built his first home studio.
While going to college Maryland in 2008 he sold all of his equipment after working on 2 albums with friend Jpalm (Jamal Cherry) And had the album released through NGC by friend G1.. In the year 2009 he moved back to Albany and bought some new equipment. As the first 5 years being known as Jibah (A name given him at the age of 14 from a punk friend, he went through a weekend retreat though an organization called The Mankind Project. Upon returning Hania Yiska was born in the dream of a gentler sound and style.
Jeffrey has recorded hundreds of songs, and has many albums on itunes and other net music stores. He has worked with Sole (ex Anticon member), Jodi Dareal, and Lord Zen of The Visionaries. Having been diagnosed with schizo-affective disorder, Jeffrey Spends time working towards recovery and trying to be of service to others. Thanks for visiting.
