June brought about more work on the album, it’s a long haul that’s for sure and seems like a lifetime ago from conception in January, I can tell ya! We both got ill for a week after the Jubilee weekend so that set us back a tad and I’ve been gallivanting in Glasgow watching Green Day and we just did a stint at Hyde Park watching the amazing Pearl Jam and Pixies. My throat doesn’t always agree with me on having fun at such events, so the pressure is on to get the vocals down on the remaining tracks this week. No pressure whatsoever!! I’ve been designing the artwork for the inside sleeves for the CD/digital release of the album. The 4 main tracks will be free to stream across all social media sites but 2 additional tracks will be exclusively available if a copy of the EP is purchased. It is definitely all systems go. We may have to push the release date of the EP back to August but we shall see how the next couple of weeks pan out and also, the availability of our engineer for mastering the tracks! That’s all the news so far, just heads down and focusing on the end product! A preview of my next track, Meta For The Masses will be coming this weekend, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
