About Heart-Beat!
Heart-Beat! has been singing songs of praise and joy since 2003. Formed in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA, we started as the contemporary choir of St. Valentine's Church in Bethel Park. I am a self taught musician and song writer, happily marred with 2 children and 2 cats. I have been actively involved in my church for as long as a remember, having served in many capacities from altar server, Sunday school teacher, Parish Council member. I have was also blessed to serve as a worship leader at a small christian church for 2 years. I try to take whatever talent God has given me and offer it back to him by spreading his good news through his great gift of music.

Wow, we are overwhelmed by the positive response we have gotten here on N1M and how our music has reached across the oceans. I truly appreciate everyone who has message me, I have to respond to every one personally--please forgive me if I have gotten to you yet!
I've uploaded a third song: Witness Blues. This blues is inspired by the Gospel story of St Thomas the Apostle and how he doubted the Resurrection until he saw it for himself. He became a witness and began spreading the Good News around the world. We are called to do the same.
We recorded this when we were a foursome: Lisa plays an intense piano break! Dan's beat drives us, and that's me on guitar, bass, vocals and even a little harmonica. Maria gave us moral support as only she can!
There also is a home made You Tube video showing some pictures from our live shows back in 2014.
So we hope you like this and that it brings you closer to God. Remember, our other 2 songs are out there as well, Working For The Lord and End of Days, which is number 3 on the PA charts as I write this.

Happy Day! I want to thank you all for your interest in our group and our music. We exist only to praise His Name! I am still trying to get the hang of N1M, but I am amazed at all of the wonderful artists and listeners here.
I've just added our second song. It's a rocker called End of Days. This was recorded back when we were just a foursome and features some great drums by Dan and spacey keyboards from Lisa. Maria even plays a little bass on it. And that's me singing and playing the tripped out guitar (you can have a lot of fun with pedals and processors, even if you don't know what you are doing!)
It's a jaunty little number that asks that musical question, are you ready for the end of days?
