'Morning,
I hope that all is healthy and happy with your good self and all those that are near and dear to you.
I also hope that you don't mind me bothering you, but I've just posted a new song that is written about someone very near and dear to me. Actually, she's not that near - physically, that is - she's currently on the other side of the world to me, which is really what the song is all about.
In a nutshell; our daughter left home at the age of 18 to explore the world and herself. Not one to do things by halves, she left the UK for New Zealand! And she's still there two years later!
This leaving of the nest proved to be a much bigger shock to the system than ever I could have expected.
Why are parents not prepared for this inevitable chapter in life?
