The first thing you hear in the track is the lack of introduction of any kind -what about a mini tune to announce something is coming ? Then you can be surprised by the threadbare backing, very scarce and repetitive -it seems to be the goal, but I would have appreciated a kind of chorus, more musical (not spoken), so the listener can cling to something memorable, hummable, after listening... But if the objective is to create a pure, raw rap track, then it is a success. Otherwise, seen as a song in itself, I don't find it particularly catchy or interesting. And even if I was a R & B specialist, I would not be impressed -too simple, even the lyrics. Well, as a demo, a starting point for a new song, it is good ; but as a real, produced, finished song I am afraid I don't like it, and I'm glad it is not too long !

I like the monotony of the track but I feel that the song isn´t really finished towards the end. Overall a perfect arrangement. This track reminds also on own problems and is not far away from normal radio hits. I find the song extremely good and can´t stop listen one more time. I´m sure you will like add.

Modern R&B and Hip Hop has many influences and this track has taken many off those. Lyrically it is topical and political and as I don't live in that environment I will merely say the contents are well written and heart felt. Musically it has a great beat and good production qualities so overall it is what it is. I think it could benefit from a chorus, maybe based on the "what's the lesson that they teach" lines. A great track that I'm sure will grow.
