About High Cotton
An Americana band with a pure sound centering on original songs with a unique perspective. LMHC blends dynamic, expressive vocals with a solid Guitar/percussion/bass foundation. Americana to Folk with In the South the phrase 'High Cotton' recalls a time when your fortune was determined by the success of your crops. If you grew cotton and things went well….the cotton was 'high' and your success (at least for that season) was guaranteed. Hence, the name...we are betting on success!
