About Hilayna Starr

Hilayna Starr is a singer, songwriter, model, and small business owner from the
small town of Altoona Pennsylvania. She has been singing since she was old enough to talk and modeling since she was 12. Her musical inspiration was Michael Jackson, and she got silent instantly when his music came on. She was always comforted by music, and she grew to live for it. Once Hilayna got into the third grade, she immediately took up violin as her instrument. She continued to play her violin all through her school days.
Hilayna also ventured into playing the tenor saxophone and the piano young in her life.
From there she knew that music is where she wanted to be.
Hilayna was a managed artist that worked with Mims Management Company
under Roman Mims. He was a driving force behind her success to this point. She is also pursuing a degree as a Music Production student at Full Sail University. With her degree, her goals are to tackle the industry from all angles and to become her own machine.
Hilayna loves to make music and put out hits. From her look to her sound she is very
unique inside and out. Hilayna is now pursuing her career in Orlando, Florida by way of
Atlanta, Georgia.
Hilayna has had the opportunity to link up with some great people along her road
thus far. She has worked with some great talent in Cleveland, Ohio from Collab on Da
Track and Jay Chris who produced her first song "I'm Super Clean" to the talented Cristo Jeanette, who works closely with platinum producer Yong Yonny, who produced her hit single “Expressway to Love.” She has also worked with Platinum writer Darryl “Tiger Da Writer” Easterling who wrote Mario’s Hit Highway To Love. She recently recorded at the prestigious recording facility in Atlanta, Ga called Soul Asylum Studios. She has also worked with Trina’s producer, CP Hollywood and Lil Wayne and Birdman’s producer Kill Will For her song “Walking In The Club”. Hilayna plans on making her mark on the industry.
