About Hill Boy Music Inc.
Michael Carter & The 2nd Generation, was formed after he decided to get a band together of his (expired link) the age of 17, Michael started playing backup guitar for The Holy Lights of Baltimore, Md. then for The Five Blind Boys of Mississippi, The Swan SilverTones, and Slim and The Supreme (expired link) his stint on the road, he returned to Monroe La, to form The 2nd Generation. Michael was nominated three times for a Dove Award, he won the Governor's Award from the State of Louisiana, the Key to the City of Monroe, and there Mayors Awards for representing his Hometown and State as a National Recording Artist. On Dec.3rd 2016 he will be presented a Life Time Achievement Award by Gods Vision1 of Indianapolis, Indiana, for his services in the music business. This presentation will be held at New Zion Baptist Church 4111 Highway 49W Drew Ms.38737 under the supervision of Pastor Joe C. Smith (DD) Doctor of Divinity PhD (662)-392-0809
