Travis A, Scott started in the rap game under the alias "Hobo the ghetto bastard" in the late 80s. He released his debut album entitled, "City by tha Sea" in 2003, under At-Last (expired link) Entertainment, an independent label based out of Long Beach, CA. Hobo's style of music is a revised version of g-funk/conscious hip hop which he calls Hobofunk.
His heart felt lyrics, and G-Funk style has reached a world wide audience.
Hobo has displayed his talent at various venues such as the Hollywood Athletic Club, where he assisted Kelvin Anderson in the launching of the "Meeting with the world compilation. he has also appeared at Club Lounge Rae with Demo, and cool cat, Club 49, Hollywood Park Casino, Jim Browns (expired link) 1st,2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Annual picnic's which he also hosted. The Long Beach, CA, Herb Smith Memorial Slow Pitch Tournament, the Willie McGinniss Super Bowl Party, Luara Richardson day in the park at Cal Rec, The 2nd annual Long Beach reuion kick back, the (expired link) ras, Cohibas and the Airgrafx Hip Hop concert 1, 2, 3, and 4.
