Holding Breaks .. Halo from tears
A great sincere sound sort of familiar but most of all it’s real .. I would work on the balance of the lead break toward the end as it’s sort of a bit overwhelming. So all the ingredients are there for a good song . The vocals are clear and not messed with the track grows on you as you play it more and the good thing is it makes you want to dig in to the Holding breaks collection. A little work on the production would enhance the track no end. Keep up the good work

I understand
Music has a dark quality that carries a droning effect, but the chord arrangement brings it through. I would go ahead and wet the vocals in some places. The reverb would have an even stronget effect if it was confined ot certain moments, a little like early grateful dead recordings. So sorry about your loss. Good luck to you,

Raw Nerve Grunge with Great Rhythm
Good motion in the drums and guitar, haunting raw vocal. I rate this honorific 3 Beers and a Shot of Dad's favorite Rum. Cohesive sound, with a mix of heartfelt anguish (trying to breathe) and poetic meta-imagery (let's stare into the void). I get the truth of feeling in this "Miss you, Dad" song. Not too mushy to include in a weekend set. Good job.

Heartfelt song
This song would benefit if the acoustic guitars were more up front and I would suggest splitting it wide left and right to separate it from the electric guitars in the mix. The song composition is well put together but lacks more musical substance. I believe if you re-EQ the instruments and get a little better sound separation you will get a better fuller sound. The electric guitar needs to be more balanced in the mix. I like the vocals are crystal clear. I can relate to this song as I also lost my father and I like the title of the song. The lyric that stands out to me is ( Illusions of you still around) My condolences. Best of luck..

Halo from Tears
Nice little cut.Music is fine ,lyrics are fine, vocalizing can be a little smoother into projection to soothing, like ' Crowed House-Don't Dream Its Over- lead singer.' The song has potential possibilities ,I personally think the artist should allow his inner being handle the emotion part of the cut and not force feed his potential audience, stay relax and let the music come to life.Concept,is only a part of living. This cut is dynamite not just the fuse, join them together for a better out come, peace.

That Pain
No one understands the pain like you alone does. Some days you are up and some days you are down. Good memories turn to calm you down. But when again the pain comes through again. Let it out Cry then Stop and switch back to the normal you letting great memories take you back up always.

In the time of greaf
Not easy to review this one, but I´ll try. I know so well of these sad feeling after losses. And one of the best things to do is just what you did, you wrote about it. It´s at least a step on the way in your greaf. Having that said this song needs a lot of work to concering quality of recording, playing, vocal rythm etc. So co writing with someone that knows a lot about this could be a solution. Bring some musicians together, book a studio and a producer will make wonders with this song. But it is what it is and the main thing is that you got it out of your system. All the best to you in the future. All the best to you and stay safe in these crazy times. -Kris

Halo From Tears
Hello, I would like to review your song but the sound is turned off on the track or the track is not playing properly. It sounds like it would be a great song for all who grieve a beloved who has passed over to heaven. I hope you will find out the technical issue and be able to reload it because I am sure it will be a song when heard by your listeners that will help them in their journey to recover from loss.

Tom Petty Almost Lives
Love the music and the feel, the singing needs a bit of work but it looks like you have a good mentor in Tom Petty. Perhaps a few hours in front of the mirror or some auto tune might help, nearly there, keep at it, Cheers Bob

A nice rocking debut!
Nice intro, I dig the sound of the guitar and drum sounds good too when coming in. You have a nice voice, but lack a bit of technique. Try different techniques to sing from your diaphragm, nose, mouth, belly. There are quite a few videos on youtube that would help you and it would make a huge difference. A little reverb would help you too! A nice original bass line would lift this mix. Fade out at the end is a tad fast. How about adding a little more back vocals? It is an interesting track, it might just need a bit more work to make it something much bigger! Lyrics are very good too. French accent sometimes perceived, but then again, it gives you a little colour!

Shine the Halo
One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song we're getting some cool guitar intro and that sounds pretty well mixed and performed. Vocally this is is a mess. As a singer, when I struggle, I rely on the producer to work magic with autotune to fix the things that are off. There's a lot off here.

Halo from tears
In the beginning I noticed your vocal pitch problem, which, if you want your listeners to enjoy and desire to purchase your music, then I suggest you go back and fix the pitch problem, or, you could consider having someone else sing the song for you. I thought your guitar arrangement was nice and the overall arrangement has a lot of potential. The overall mix seems to be ok as well. In my conclusion, if you fix the vocal pitch problem you would have a much better chance of having a song people would support. I wish all the best for you in your musical endeavor. Michael Bell

Interested from the start.
I was drawn by opening music however the off key notes are very distracting This song is Reminiscent of something I would hear at an open air festival. Unfortunately your vocals being often flat, takes away from being able to continue to engage fully. I would suggest you redo it with a vocal coach. Or have someone else do the vocals. A brave effort, however not ever going to make anything of it if you are unable to exact the notes. Thanks for asking me to review:) Don't give up!

A very personal song
This song has plenty of raw emotion and the guitar riff is solid enough to carry us along. Drums provide a steady beat with some characteristic symbol work. The voice is confessional in style and full of angst. I believe that the guitar solo at the end could be tweaked to lift the song up further. Perhaps the song lacks a strong hook line via the chorus something that might be done via the application of more backing vocals.

Early doors but refinement is the key
Musical arrangement is cool and production ok but the song suffers a little in the vocal performance which needs refining and perhaps a key change would take the voice into a range that suits more. Guitar at end is fine but overall the song lacks colour.

Feelings,As Is.
"Halo From Tears" is a song that flushes out raw feelings. It's in "the rough",and that's okay. Sometimes you just need to get it out. Being that this song concerns the artist's deceased father,it's fair to give it to the public "as is".
