All I Want is some more Hollywood Assassyn
Heavy Hitting guitars,Grungy Bass, and a driving beat is just some of what this band and song has to offer..The vocals aren't over the top,and you can understand the vocalist clearly in each lyrical line..The mood of this song is dark, and emotional..the chorus, reachs out and grabs you, from a dark place that is inside of us all..this band will be big soon!

Heavy!
Sounds good! Heavy groove, solid musicianship...decent mix, solid production. You can hear your influences coming through, but it still sounds original, whether, inspired by others or not, you still keep it your own. Overall, a good solid song, with lots of potential...the singer has an extensive range, perfectly suited to your style...always a plus! I would expect to hear this on any rock station playlist, and in regular rotation. Keep up the great work!

Cool and Wicked. No blame.
It furthers one to persevere into the realm of the groove on this one as long as one is ready to light up, get serious or get the hell out of the way. The vocals stay close to the vest riding the beat, and that's right deadly. You're that much more more setup when the high notes kick your ass, and that's great. Have a great ride. Ha ha!! I did.

Great Groove!
All I Want - Hollywood Assassyn Whether or not one likes to admit or not that post-grunge hard rock has had and still has a place in music today, it is going to be remembered forever and probably celebrated just as long, with new uprising riots, through the rebellion of song creation. This song, "All I Want", is a perfect example of exactly that. A good, hard and heavy groove to reminisce of the great music, which still lives to this day, of a short-lived and powerful era. - Jonathan Karl Babin

Anoher interesting song
Another interesting song from the guys from Alberta. This song is a the perfect mix between Metal, Grunge, Psychedelic and American NU Rock/Metal. In the quiet parts it reminds me a little bit on Soundgarden, The refrain is a little bit like Nirwana, the riffs reminds me also on a oldschool punksong "Troops of tomorrow" (The Exploited).Nevertheless, the complete work is a style of its own, very well produced and professional mixed. I like it!

Stomach-kick...
I like this song very much. The power of all instruments and the real cool harmonics of the singer brings an awesome good vibe to it. One of the best things around here. Little deduction due to the not so virtuous drum playing. Would give it the last bump in the butt and kick in the stomach. By far one of the real promising acts around here. You got it! Best wishes to get what you desire!

All i Want
I have to say this song has a very good vibe. And it sounds like Alice in Chains.I like this band very much.I love voice of the singer in this song. But i wanted to add something important here.Try not to play music from position of fan of the band. You need to show that this band has something own to say.I am waiting for another song.

My Honest Review
I only review music that I believe deserves a review. Plenty of music comes across my desk and I shut it off, for many different reasons, and I just skip the review. Today, I listened to your song, several times, and there are some issues with your recording. First and foremost, your guitar drowns out everything. The drums have zero punch because the guitars are too loud in the mix. This level of the guitar makes it difficult to hear and understand the vocals. Bass is not very snappy or punchy in the mix as well. I understand it is guitar driven music but even the craziest rock music has to share frequency space. All other instruments have to share the space in order to give a song feeling. I listened to your song several times with ear buds, headphones, and speakers. The issues persisted through each medium that I had tried. The song overall isn't bad and I got a feel for it as I listened to the song several times. There are some performance issues as well. I heard some flat vocals but, I am sure they aren't all that bothersome to an untrained ear. I like the singer's voice and vocal tone he just was a little off on a few notes. Everything else in the song is great! The mix is what it is and the vocal issues aren't all that bad so the song and the band are better than average. I wouldn't be discouraged by anything in this review I would be encouraged to make sure your next mix is better. Always remember, you only get one chance to make a first impression, so make it count! Keep up the good work with writing and recording as you will only get better the more that you write and record!

Very cool music
Hi, this is a nice production. Drum and guitarsound are pretty good. Your vocalist has skills. Very nice at all. The style of your music is something that could work for a big audience. Go on with your music. This is getting bigger and bigger in future. oh, think about a better ending for the song.

fellow canucks...
i like this. it's solid and straight forward. reminds me of early 90's when i would rock out in my car to the pilots, or alice in chains. i think the production is fine. it has punch and balance. the vocals are effective with a decent range and a flair for going to the big notes when needed. :) main riff is basic and catchy. nice work.

Clear AIC influences and heavy sound
Good guitars, crushing yet fairly clean. good production and mix. Good vocal range and impact. I can definitely hear AIC from their "dirt" period. Solid work, happy to share and recommend. keep it up

wow, very cool, thanks for bringing back the sound that slipped my mind for too long, all thats missing to be on the chains album is that signature augmented low harmony vocal they do, but still original enough sound to not be mistaken for them, i think the chorus vox are more powerfull than theirs, and all around slightly heavier feel, my fav is the 8/8 decending half step melody on what i have to call a bridge, this may be unique, and pioneering effort... kudos ! .. and thanks for insighting inspirational ponderings...haha

Nostalgically Refreshing
Sometimes a feeling comes about when you hear something in music. A certain changeover, a perfectly hit octave, or just a heavy riff of metallic distortion. Some bands have the "crunch", others don't. This song is an excellent revival of heavy rock/metal that never got it's fair airplay, or attention. The vocals are well emphasized and superb. The rhythm section successfully loco motioned that slow scraping drawl that abrasively tantalized my ears and wanting more, hoping for more leads and possibly more tempo changeovers. Nonetheless it is a powerhouse of composing and imagination that is sure to lead a following back to the molten rock storm that birthed the metallic age of music.

Canadian sludge!
Hollywood Assasyns "All I Want" is according to the band itself insipred by Alice in Chains. But they might as well have stated some Stone Temple Pilots anno 'Core' inspiration. NOW, there is a huge difference between "trying to sound like" and "being inspired by" and this is definately the latter. I'm fan of both said bands so there isn't ANY flak coming from my corner here! Heavy, groovy... sludgy also pops into mind... and a killer chorus! The singer has a tone that I like. Yes, there is some Scott Weiland and a bit of Layne Staley in there, but it still has an identity of its own. The riffs are efficient, tight and straight to the point while the rythm section keeps it heavy all the way through. Ok, I have to admit wasn't fully blown away, but I liked this song and if Hollywood Assasyn ever pops up on a stage in a club where I'm at, I'd defintately stick around for another beer. ...and I mean that as a compliment! Stay heavy, guys!

Alternative Hybrid
From what I've heard, this is an interesting Alternative Hybrid. If Tool and Shinedown had a kid together, you would get Hollywood Assassyn. From the vocals to the music, there a powerful tones hinting to the sounds of each band plus a personalizing that polishes off the song. I'm eager to hear more!

Kick ass tune!
This is a great song with a very dynamic and visceral feel to it. It has that good heavy groove that you can just rock out and get lost in. Great work guys, hopefully we can work together on some shows one day.
