Over the past few months, I Ignite has been hard at work, spreading our wings and getting our feet wet traveling around the mid-west and northeast. 2013 has seen us travel to Texas for SxSW, Maryland, Indiana, Ohio, Pennslyvania, Connecticut, and New Jersey.
It's been pretty exciting to still be considered a "baby" band and be able to bring the live show to you all in only a year and half's time. We're super proud of our accomplishments, and we want to keep them coming to you with fresh recordings, new songs, music videos, hot merch, and of course MORE SHOWS !
Unfortunately, with travel comes maintenence and upkeep of a vehicle and trailer, and we're sad to report that our current vehicle will no longer be able to survive the conditions of the road anymore. Total bummer !
We've established a fundraising website at (expired link) to try and raise the proper capital for us to get into a newer vehicle so we can keep melting faces and rocking socks.

Hey everyone ! We've got some great things happening here at the I Ignite camp. Sit down, have a drink, and check out the latest !
-After over a year of delays and personal setbacks, we are happy to release our music video for "Stand Alone". This video meant a lot of us: it was shot by a friend with absolutely zero budget and edited entirely by our own guitar player Stefen, so it truly is DIY to the core.
The message is strong and positive and we hope you enjoy a little glimpse into our life on and off the stage.

Fresh off a week from SxSW, we had a blast in Austin ! Lots of parties attended, lots of hands shaken, elbows rubbed, and faces melted. Super stoked to have been a part of one of the industry's biggest showcases in the nation !

About I Ignite
Life and lessons learned... In only a few months time, the local buzz surrounding Long Island 5 piece punk/metal/rock band I Ignite has been loud, proud, and overwhelmingly positive! Stemming from their first performance in December 2011, people have only been asking for more of what originally began as the brainchild and creative outlet for For The Taking/A Farewell Fire guitarist Eddie Raccioppi; the music that fir
st began appearing on his personal Facebook music page has now exploded into a full band live show experience.
After years of paying dues as a stellar ax-man and astute songwriter in clubs and bars all over Long Island and New York City with his former bands, Eddie has laid down his guitar and traded up for a microphone, assembling some of the best musicians on Long Island who have come to truly believe in the new music and round out the project that's really turning some heads. The members of I Ignite are comprised of veteran members from some of the Island's best local acts under and ON the radar including: For The Taking, Aprils End, Blameshift, The New Black, and The Apparition.
