Illusive Mind is excited to announce their soon to be released 4th coming album the "Pembina LP." Which will be released early 2012. A release party and some touring will soon follow. Illusive Mind has been jamming, writing, rehearsing, touring and tinkering with their music for almost 8 years now. Continuously developing and furthering their exploration in their promiscuous jamming tendencies and perfecting a sound that has been dubbed "folk metal", "festival metal", "psychedelic metal" or what the band likes to think of it as, "prairie metal."
Consisting of members Todd McDougall on vocals and guitars, Terrell Froese on drums and violin, Dan Trupp on bass and vocals, Aaron Simoes on the synthesizer, Tyler Nielsen on guitars and Jaymez on live video manipulation, Illusive Mind brings a veritable bag of tricks to every live performance and a great wealth of sounds, talent and psychedelic influence to everything that the band does.
