Will Covington is founder and CEO of Inferno Music Group Production Company. He is also past President of Entertainment Galore (EG), established in 1980 as a full-service music promotions/production specializing in concerts/ special events, stage management, talent bookings, music publishing, and sound recording productions. The company is currently owned and operated by his wife, Gwen, who is also a recording artist.
Will is an accomplished professional drummer and record producer. During the past 45 years, he performed with many celebrity artists like Gladys Knight & The Pips, James Brown, Al Green, Betty Wright, The Ink Spots, The Commodores, Chi-Lites, Roy Ayers, and his own R&B band known as Omari. He earned a GRAMMY AWARD in 1985 when he played drums with (expired link). King’s 50th Anniversary album; the GRAMMY single on that project is titled "MY GUITAR SINGS THE BLUES". He is Chairman of the Orange Technical College Music Advisory Board, Member of the Valencia College Music Advisory Board, Radio Host and Producer of So You Want Your Name In Lights Youth Music Talent Show.
He is recipient of numerous awards including President Barack Obama Volunteer Service Award, The City of Orlando Police Good Citizenship Award, "We Care" Gold Record Award (1985), Metro-Dade County Vanguard Award (1993), just to name a few.
Some of the music recordings credits Will has produced are titled "Wizzdom" (TK Productions/1980), "After Loving You" (internationally distributed by MCA Recent Future Music/1984 and still playing today), "Call on Jesus" (EGi Records/1985), "A Commemorative Tribute To Florida Memorial College" CD (1987 scholarship funds for this HBCU currently known as Florida Memorial University) "We Care" (financial support of relief efforts for the starving refugees of Ethiopia). His recent full-length CD productions (2009-2017) are with Gospel recording artists The Daytonaires of Central Florida “I’ll Fly Away”, Minister Ed Brown, Jr “Get My Praise On”, Bro Emmanuel Wilson & Mighty Sons of God “So So So Good”, Deadbolt Revival “Outcast”, and national hit, “That’s Him” by his wife, Gwen, Darwin Brascomb's "Live, Love, Learn"; and assisted with the production of "Orlando Strong". He has provided entertain¬ment for the Miami Heat, NFL Super Bowl (Miami/1995), Summer Olympics (Miami), BET and numerous conventions booked by Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau. Some of his concerts productions featured The O'Jays, Sly Stone, Inner Circle Bad Boys of Reggae, Billy Paul, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, Bill Summers and Summer's Heat, Evangelist Shirley Caesar, Richard Smallwood and the Smallwood Singers, Dorothy Norwood, Chi'lites, Betty Wright, Timmy Thomas, and many more artists.
