Progressive and different style of music

This song grabbed me right from the start! I just can say that I was surprised, when I immediately trying move to the beat. A great mixture of modern Rock with patterns in style of pop music. Bruno Levy on lead and rhythm guitar accompanes the song brilliant. Milo Keysington did a great job on bass and keyboard. I like the spontaneous solo on the keys in the bridge what brings additionally beauty into the song. Steve Myers plays very versatile drum style on this arrangement and make this wonderful composition complete. That isn´t always easy because of the kick-stuff in this arrangement and orchestration of different effects, but together is all sounding really professionell. The lyrics comes from the heart and touches the soul. The refrain is the message and makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. Overall a fantastic work and arrangement from the composer. The song could be a radio hit and it´s an original. Listen to the song and I´m sure you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.

Spunk.

Helpful

Not my cup of tea, but this song has a bunch of spunk. I almost got out of my chair at work and wanted to dance. Id enjoys this with a bunch of wallflower type people who burn out and enjoy the finer things. The slow middle is a bit od but I like the dialogue in ut then the build up is fun to bring it back with that spunk.

Good song and composition.

Hello! Here is a well-paced music! I like very much the tone of the guitar, as well as the fact of having " panoramisé " the sound of the instrument. The solo of guitar seems to me a little below the global sound level; it's a pity, but not very grave. The singer has a very interesting voice; put and just, which becomes rare nowadays. The composition is realized well, with various passages, what increases the interest by it. Bravo!

This is one more amazing production for a very cheerful song, with a contagious rhythm that impels us to dance. I think it's really a song that should be in the top of Pop music of Number One Music. I also really liked the other themes available on the page, like I said before. I think is on the right way, and in terms of music production is really, really well done and I have to congratulate you on it again. I'm waiting for new themes, with the same quality. Best wishes !! Retro Progressive Twist

Helpful

When I listen to this song it sounds very retro and does have that progressive sound. Its a good song now are you promoting it as a pop/rock radio song ? Now I know you guys like that progressive sound which is nice and I'm sure you have in your song list basic 4 4 timing songs with hooks and easy melodies if not try it.I like progressive as like Yes-Round About-Rush-Spirit of the Radio. Find that radio hit and then show off playing that progressive vibe.Keep up the good work-Party Up I use to sing all types of music rock/pop even Rush but I'm really singing Van halen to Judas Priest and Motley now I switches gears to writing singing pop with a style and I draw bigger audiences and fans. Its my Las Vegas on Jack Daniels and Vodka-check me out google-kellyjdevoe I'm a school of hard knocks-Thank-you

Hello from Jerzy

I was expecting something "crazy"... but I found out You playing a "soft rock"... I like it... You put to the song some ideas from some Super Stars from The Past...but all turn out ok... The song is good to dance and has a nice melody ..I'm sure that People will like it specially at The Concerts...I'm not sure about Radio because DJ need Radio Ready Recordings..I mean The Best ..Jerzy..

How To Write An Impossible Review

Okay...I'm gonna do my best here -- to be nice, and fair and honest. "Eyes That Flicker", according to the title, is a newly remastered track that originally dates to 2015-2016, yet it sounds like a track that might have had airplay in the late 80s on MTV (think latter-day Styx or Moody Blues). Even at that, no one trying to have a hit in that era would have been allowed to release their track in the manner this was recorded, and remastering a track recorded like this is similar to digitizing a worn-out photo from another time...it's only going to reach a certain point before the source betrays it. There's nothing wrong with a song having an anachronistic feel -- I'm guilty of that myself -- but the recording itself pulls the listener away from the experience of *listening* to the song, and that's practically criminal. The incessant auto-pan of the rhythm guitar and the odd mic placement for the drums and vocals kill whatever energy the band was trying to create. I think this song could be re-recorded using modern equipment and a producer with an ear for this style of song (Steve Miller Band's "Abracadabra" would be a good reference point). If for some reason Grimpen Mire Studio can't accommodate the band's vibe, they should look elsewhere. I'm going to guess that this very proficient group of musicians can make this song crackle when played live, but this recording can be remastered 'til the cows come home and will never do it justice. Gentlemen, I wish you the very best of luck with future recordings and production. You should get to shine for posterity in your recordings.
