To all of my loyal fans and supporters, I'd like to take a moment to say my goodbyes.

It's been a little over six months now since the love of my life lost her battle with cancer. Now I'm not here to play the woe-is-me card, but it's definitely had a significant impact on my daily life. I've got two kids under 10 years old to look after on my own. Nowadays, I own and run an electronics & toy store called Go Dad Toys & Tech ((expired link)).

In 3 days (June 17th) my account here on N1M will expire, & I'm not in a position to renew it. This means everything will disappear including my mailing list. There are over 2,100 of you in this mailing list! My music is available all over the internet, just search "Ionic Construct Music" & pick your favorite service. Tip: YouTube is free to stream!

Hello everybody,

In my last update I was telling you about how I was taking my wife to Mexico for late stage cancer treatment. It comes with immense heartbreak to inform all of you that at 4:15 PM on November 1st, 2019 Hannah has passed away and is now in God's loving hands. The ER doctors in Chula Vista, CA had just got her back from a CT scan, and I was able to have 5 more minutes with her before she passed in my arms. The scans revealed that her entire liver was made up of tumors, along with her skull, jaw, face, lungs, bones, and several other parts of her body. It was everywhere! There was nothing else we could do.

I'm at a loss for what else to write...so I decided to share a song that I wrote about my love for her... here's the back story:

I originally wrote the music for this song in 2015, before Hannah was diagnosed with breast cancer. I released the instrumental version in 2015 on my album "Alien Transmissons. At this time I started writing the lyrics. In 2016, I met an amazing artist named NIK:11 via Twitter messaging. NIK:11 fell in love with this song when I showed her the lyrics I had written. I originally wrote it from the perspective of me saying these lines about/to Hannah. I convinced NIK:11 to help me finish writing, and to have her sing the vocals since my voice was no good. So we changed certain words, like "she" or "woman", to "he" or "man", so the vocals would make sense coming from a female voice. In 2016, this song was entered into the Independent Music Awards. We are still in the works of a fully polished radio version, but I really wanted you to hear the original. This song is my life's greatest legacy, musically speaking, and has taken many years of revisions & edits. Dedicated in loving memory of Hannah, RIP 11/01/2019. May your memory live on forever in our hearts, and your love for us be immortal & timeless.

Hello everybody,

I know it has been a while since I've written a newsletter or released a new song. The reason why is because my wife is dying from breast cancer. She has been fighting this disease since March of 2016. After all conventional methods failed, we sought out new ideas. We are currently in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico where she is recieving intensive treatments.

I've always tried to stay strong and not let my emotions get in the way of my music, but that's just the thing... music comes from my heart, mind, & soul. Right now my heart is just too heavy. I hope that you all enjoy the many songs I've released so far, but it will be a while before I am ready and able to write new music.

Life is a series of cycles. There will be a time in the future that I'll be back to writing, but for now this is the way it has to be. If any of you are struggling with something in your lives, I urge you to be vulnerable & accept that you can't win every battle. There will always be brighter days ahead. I will see you on the other side.

My song "Immortality" was written about my love for her. The instrumental version is available for listening here on N1M. I collaborated on the vocals with an artist named NIK:11, and I look forward to uploading the completed song when I am back in the United States. Keep an eye out for it & check back often!
