About IULI MAI

IULI MAI (aka Mi Mi Mi) is a Romanian music maker. He started his musical journey as a guitarist and composer in two rock bands in his native country, Romania. With the second band (Ricochee) he toured extensively, produced an album and managed to win a song competition in 2004 (Internationaler Musikpreis organised by Deutsches Musik-Exportburo) with one of his compositions. After moving to Japan, he started a solo project as singer-songwriter Mi Mi Mi, producing 6 albums so far: Homemade , Alive, Soundtrack, Plus+Minus , Love Songs and Departe, built around melodic choruses, intimate lyrics and riffs of acoustic and electric guitars. He’s also produced his own videos for these albums. As a producer, he produced “Desire”, the debut album of female vocal artist MeeRah, with emotional songs in the adult contemporary genre.
