In the beginning... have your voice part with a bit of reverb and slowly pull the volume down like a fade effect- that will draw the listened in. When you sing the lyrics "Karma have it's way" ... Make the Sound in the background do a slight drop (not completely go silent but enough that the listener can feel the DIFFERENCE BUT be mesmerized by the word "Way" being carried that way)- the word WAYYY as it's already carrying over the song is such a way that it's striking and that actually will allow a 1st bridge in your song ( a change in the main rythem). This song has a jazzy upbeat blues sound to it WHICH I LOVE with a 2019 beat!! I can hear a bit of a light sort of flirty jazz scat going on. If you want a reference - listen to my song Do You there is a scat action in this piece that I know can help guide you in your approach to placing a scat in your song. I could personally for me hear the scat playing with your melody but yet having it's own rhythm in the ending section of you Karma song. In the part where you START TO sing "Lose my mind over you" in the middle of the song is where you can start a lovely scat and then sort of play with it..have your scatting fade into your next lyrics. So when final section starts as you come in again with your lyrics "It took a little while".....have your scatting fade into your main melody and don't let it overpower your voice. I like the mood this song creates. It tells an interesting story but the mood of the vocals and background layers are what gets me the most. It kind of feels like the voices saying not to lose your mind over someone. I'm liking this song a lot.

Hi Karma! I dig the song! I think you picked correctly in terms of the genre. I think some of the rhythmic feel is lost on the reverb. Combined with the other voices it makes the words a little hard to understand in places. I'm listening on a phone so I could be off on this, but I dont think the voices need as much reverb as they have. Panning the backing vocals can create some of the space needed to help them sit in the mix better, then when you do add reverb you don't need as much to get the same effect. You mentioned that this is unreleased. I would recommend having your vocals tuned. There are some notes that are a little under the pitch. All singers do it. These days, a little melodyne goes a long way. Aside from that, I love the energy you capture in the song. It has a bit of mystique. Good work. Thanks so much Rashon

Nice music tract.... different is what i here ,it sounds more of a jazzy pop style. which gives it a distinguish sound. i dont think it needs the medley that many times because its a nice style and you dont want it to sound like you repeating the same lines too much But keep it strong and sing with deep feelings its all good!

I really like this. It has a sort of Soul II Soul feel – laid back and chillaxing. The phasing and placement of the harmonies is really good and works perfectly with your lead vocal. The instrumental doesn't overwhelm the vocals.
