Getting listed was a huge surprise, and I am so grateful that you guys like what I am singing about and I thought you might like to know my thinking on the songs. GET OUT OF HERE! This was a song written about an ex-wife who just didn't get it. She was a really good looking woman on the outside and ugly on the inside, unfortunately she only saw herself in pictures. NEW YORK CITY This song is about living in the Hudson Valley, about 1 and a half hours north of the Greatest City in the World, New York and the feeling you get driving into it. The drum and beat of the wheels on the road, the signs and the emotion as you go over the George Washington Bridge and see the greatest skyline in the world, it makes me get goose bumps every time! The sites of the city, how you know who a tourist is, they all look up, and a huge shout out to the New York Yankees! I CRY INSIDE This song is about having a huge love for someone and you cannot share it or show it because you could hurt them or someone else. You cant show your tears, so the only way you can weep is to cry inside! I have a bunch of new songs that I have written and created and my intention is to try and play them in the style of the late great J.J. Cale who I thought was absolutely amazing, so please watch out for them.
