It's been a difficult but cathartic song to write & record following the heart wrenching break up with my boyfriend of 3 years in Feb, but also about how I've reflected on the positives of the breakup & how much I'd compromised myself & my music goals to make it work & how the breakup ultimately freed me to properly pursue them since!

My Indie label dAudio & producer Alex Dudley has also taken my music/sound in an exciting new direction, mixing Indie Rock, dance & electronica influences into the song production, to embellish the positive, uplifting vibes of the chorus!

I just want to say a massive thanks for all the wonderful support I've had from my existing, & new Fanlist subscribers worldwide on N1Music site - it's so inspiring to see my Fanlist grow from all corners of the globe!

I'm sorry if I've been a little vacant in contact; the past few months have been very difficult for me, personally & professionally - I split with my long term boyfriend of almost 3 years in Feb, & since left my full time office job due to the stress of the breakup to pursue music full time & only just found permanent accomodation in Birmingham.

My sexuality is something I've always kept ambiguous on social media, musicians & personal pages & for most of my adult life & I've only partially come out of the closet to my closest friends, but it's taken almost 20 years to fully come out to my family which I'm now taking steps towards, but I finally realise how not being honest to myself, & people I care about has caused me serious stress, anxiety, impacted my well-being & relationships, with previous partners never being introduced to my family - but this is all about to change, & as it's UK Pride month it feels perfect time to announce this to you all. #Loveislove #Wellbeing #Mentalhealth #Itsoknottobeok.

The positive new for you all is that the difficulty, trauma & life adjustments I've gone through with the break up, personal revelations & positive steps I'm taking to fully embrace my music career are helping feed into some fantastic new music; I'm working with dAudio Music in Birmingham, UK who've already completed & set official release date of my new single "Unexpected Changes", officially due out from Fri 28th June - I've already finished writing my next song "Broken Man", reflecting on a lot of the personal & mental struggles I've dealth with in coming out.

Apologies if I've been a little absent recently; I went through a difficult relationship breakdown in Feb & relocated to the West Midlands - it's taken few months to really get back on 'the horse' & in the right head space to focus again properly on my music passion.

Hey folks;
I'm so sorry for the extreme extended delay since my last newsletter & updates - it's been a difficult, & tumultuous year in recent months with a lot of personal & professional upheaval & some heartache, which has led to me relocating slightly from the East to West Midlands (UK) from Leicester to Staffs.

The good news is due to recent change in personal circumstances I've found the means to leave my full time day job in Leicester, & will now be pursuing my music, songwriting & gigs FULL time in the coming weeks/months/year! :)

This includes new collabs; in Oct 2016 I released my debut EP "Trials of a Modern Man" as Jamie Connolly with West Mids based dAudio Music Group label, including originals "Slowly Breaking Heart" & "Let It Ride" - well I've agreed a new management deal with them, which includes releases of 5 NEW original songs due in the coming year, as well as new music videos, regular V-logs, a brand new website & James T Wilde merchandise offers - watch this space! :)

I want to boost the views, exposure & reach for this one; if you haven't already please checkout my latest OFFICIAL Music Video for my single "A Life Half Lived" on Vevo - filmed at a beautiful country setting at fellow 'showbiz' friend Mark Chenery's stunning country farm house in North Wales, with backdrop of the Snowden mountain range! :)

The song is very introspective, & written about quite a dark phase I went through a couple of years ago struggling with stress & anxiety - mainly due to career & relationship frustrations - it's about realizing you've been living a lie & compromising your goals & having to hit 'rock bottom' to make a clean slate & start over; something I'm sure a lot of you can relate to! ;)
