I'm sorry if I've been a little vacant in contact; the past few months have been very difficult for me, personally & professionally - I split with my long term boyfriend of almost 3 years in Feb, & since left my full time office job due to the stress of the breakup to pursue music full time & only just found permanent accomodation in Birmingham.
My sexuality is something I've always kept ambiguous on social media, musicians & personal pages & for most of my adult life & I've only partially come out of the closet to my closest friends, but it's taken almost 20 years to fully come out to my family which I'm now taking steps towards, but I finally realise how not being honest to myself, & people I care about has caused me serious stress, anxiety, impacted my well-being & relationships, with previous partners never being introduced to my family - but this is all about to change, & as it's UK Pride month it feels perfect time to announce this to you all. #Loveislove #Wellbeing #Mentalhealth #Itsoknottobeok.
The positive new for you all is that the difficulty, trauma & life adjustments I've gone through with the break up, personal revelations & positive steps I'm taking to fully embrace my music career are helping feed into some fantastic new music; I'm working with dAudio Music in Birmingham, UK who've already completed & set official release date of my new single "Unexpected Changes", officially due out from Fri 28th June - I've already finished writing my next song "Broken Man", reflecting on a lot of the personal & mental struggles I've dealth with in coming out.
