Really tasty guitar work open the song, it's upbeat with a hot pace and a very round acoustic sound. Chorus took me by surprise when the drummer went to double time but it worked, Kinda reminds me of Toad the Wet Sprocket, with it's organic rhythms, however still unique enough to be it's own without reference. Good story and a great delivery full of mystery and vintage riffing to take you on James T's Wilde Ride~

Comes in very comfortable...

Sounds to me like an accoustic rock'n'roll band with country influences. Comes in very comfortable, nice even mix with the voice in the front row. The singer has nice voice and links all together. There is a fresh break in the third section, which rounds all up to a well arranged song. Guess this will claim more attention with the right endurance and patience... and keepingup the good work!

Love the riffs dude, great song has a bluesy country rock about it. The riffs throughout the whole song is amazing. I gave it a 5 off the charts for the creative song writing and playing techniques....

"Let it Ride" by James T. Wilde

Upon the very first listen to "Let it Ride" by James T Wilde, I am immediately reminded of several great singer/songwriters from the 1960's and 1970's. Not to say that James T. Wilde has a sound that is entirely derivative - quite the contrary, Wilde has a sound that is uniquely his. Good writing, performance and production. I will be looking forward to hearing new music from James in the future

Let It Ride review. this song is a strictly Indie Rock piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in Indie Rock style as I said everything recalls the Indie Rock genre . personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a Indie Rock piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job

Fantastic stuff

Please keep on rocking and making that rock and roll all night and every day honkey. This is why we listen and why we feel the music. See to it that you keep it up! From the USA to the U.K. there is a long legacy of continuing the legacy of rock.

A Fine Piece Of Music

There is really nothing wrong with this song. All I would do to improve it is ad some backing vocals, particularly in the chorus, and I would trim it a little to make it shorter. This would broaden its appeal and make it more radio friendly. But not a bad effort. Keep up the good work.

Ride

From the beginning I enjoy tone of the lead singer. His voice is clear and his rhymes are somewhat different. This to me is a good thing. Makes is message stand apart from others. Good luck . Thanks Magic

Bubbling under and needing some re-vamping.

James you've got a great voice but in places the vocal performance is underwhelming. The song is too long for the content therein as all you need to say with this chord sequence and lyrics can be done in three minutes or so. The lead guitar could also do with some space in between notes to get more feeling in. Mix wise not sure the acoustic guitar really does the sound justice... maybe some power chords in there somewhere would help. The song is of a kind that has many versions all over the world and the question is does your version offer a new angle on a tried and trusted genre? Maybe a revamp and a rethink about what you want to achieve are needed. The potential is there but I would check out Drooble and find some artists like yourself on there doing similar music who hail from the US cause they certainly know how to pump this stuff out big time!

Interesting changes of rythm

I have been listening to this song with interest to hear all intricate rythms and changes of rythm. There is so much in this song, that you wonder whether it should not be two songs. There is a great rock attitude in it as well.

Awesome songs

The music is great, the vocals are great and the lyrics are properly structured with pure meaning. 1st of all I like it when artists write the material they are recording and singing, and this guy knows exactly how to be that kind of artists for sure. I would recommend him for sure to anyone looking for any music they haven't heard before.

James T Wilde

James T Wilde has sent me a request to review his song "Let It Ride". Like most songs I've been listening to originating from the UK give me the impression that I, wouldn't want to live there? Apparently they have problems, a lot of problems. On a positive note, James T Wilde singing with an american accent, didn't break British tradition! My personal opinion would be tighten up, it seemed to loose. May have been caused by the lead guitar amplifier's reverb making the guitar sound like it was being played from inside a cave. But, this may be James T Wilde's artistic license... take the time to visit James T Wilde's page and check out some of his other tunes "Slowly Breaking Heart" & "Dying Star" Rock On...

Hi

I like Melody and Vocal...but arrangement not so much...I prefer more complex..Is always a good idea to keep Song less than 3.5 min ( for commercial reason Radio Stations do not like if the song is too long)..it is easy to fix it just re record a second version for Them and cut some instrumental parts ..You put a lot of energy in Vocal part Good Job..as You know Music Publishers are Hard to Please but try to pitch it to Them and let see what They will say.. I wish You Good Luck.. Good Job..

Ride On

One of the things I enjoy about NumbeOneMusic are the varieties of music we'll hear. This is a fun song with a lot of throwback elements into the late 60's and early 70's rock and roll. There are production values I'd re-arrange a bit, but given that this is indie music, the effort here is a solid one. I could hear this on a movie or television show in the background of a teen ridden angst or mystery film.

LET IT RIDE

I LIKE THE SPARSENESS OF THIS TRACK IN THE VERSE AND THERE IS A TASTY LEAD SOLO HEADING INTO THE SECOND VERSE AND GENERALLY THERE IS GOOD PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES EMPLOYED THROUGHOUT I WOUL;D LIKE TO HEAR MORE RYTHM ELECTRIC GUITAR TO GIVE THE CHORUSES A FATTER SOUND AND ALSO TO PROVIDE THE LIGHT AND SHADE NEEDED TO BRING THE CHORUS OUT FROM THE REST OF THE SONG OTHERWISE THIS IS A GOOD EFFORT

Let It Ride

This song could be much more accessible without all the constant repeat backing vocals all way through. It they were just over the let it ride chorus sections or even a chosen section and just straight vocals in the main verses it would work so much better..Just way to busy unnecessary. i listening to the lead vocals and they are good and for me would work so much stronger alone. Pretty nice/catchy tune but bit too busy vocally. i know its hard to not get a good response 9yes..i really know lol) however its so close sooo close. good luck regardless of my thoughts. I wish you great success. MUNKIB X
