A really nice review of a gig earlier in the year... "Well done that man! I don’t think I have heard you play since back when The Wharrey was just getting started Jamie, but even then I could sense someone with a much greater harmonic range than most of your contemporaries. Yesterday in the Blues Bar you proved my aging memory to be intact. You played a blinder Jamie and I’m not just talking about technical facility. Imaginative and daring are two of many adjectives that come to mind. So many guitarists try and sound impressive as they charge up and down their blues scales but it all signifies little. You are able to extend your harmonic explorations into areas that many rock musicians just couldn’t contemplate. I loved your presentation as well. That relaxed smiling communication with the band and just a general sense of being at ease made us in the audience feel like guests at your party rather than just punters at a gig. Well done that man!"
