Very well produced track both musically and vocally. The instrument selection was right on for this particular song and if you listen carefully you van hear a Lowery instrument or patch in the background. Nice touch. The lyrics are well crafted and brings to mind another old song that some may remember. "The Girls All Get Prettier At Closing Time." This is an up-tempo number that is good for dancing or just listening. It could move along in the commercial air play media if promoted. All in all I liked the entire production but at the same time the melody does sound like a lot of other songs I have heard over the years. Even with that the lyrics keep you into the track. Good job all around. I give it a thumbs up.

I found this to be a well arranged, well constructed, and well written song. The vocals are right where they need to be and are solid and fit the genre well. It could easily be a very popular song on many a major country station. The music is right on and played very well! Having said that, I will give you a honest opinion, which is what I do when someone asks for a review. I don't sugar coat it or butter it up. And keep in mind it is merely that - an opinion. And I will tell you why it doesn't quite reach a "5" - for me personally (RWB). Don't be afraid to reach outside of your comfort zone in writing and try something different. The song is fine like it is, but for me there is a piece of originality missing. That's ok, it's a good song. And this is merely based on this song alone. But I would say on your next project, reach outside of the formulas and things you've learned about songwriting -and I have no doubt you are a top songwriter. But try something different or new and break the mold and the formulas that we as songwriters have been taught and mentored with. Grab that piece of creative originality that needs to seep into the song and give some, even small little thing, to make it stand out from the rest in a whole new way. Do that and move from good to great, or great to fantastic, or from fantastic to superbly marvelous. I have faith you will. Good work and keep on keeping on!
