Hier passt wieder alles: der wunderbare jazzige Bass, die Gitarrenklänge, die Harmonika und alle anderen Klänge. Mir gefällt auch die Verwendung von - unter anderen - Sprach Samples. So entsteht eine feine Mischung aus Jazz und elektronischen programmierten Elementen, die diesem Musikstück ein ganz eigenen unverwechselbaren Charakter verleihen. Es entsteht quasi ein eigener Stil und das ist schon was sehr besonderes. Fazit. toller Musiker & fantastisches Stück Musik.

I like the funky, relaxed jam feel of this piece. The style is smooth jazz or jazz-funk and the deep rumbling bass fits the style perfectly. The piece is mostly instrumental and and has some funky processed vocals sprinkled throughout. The organ solo is tastefully understated, and the bass (in its upper register) is featured as a lead instrument. Nice production work.

Well i would like to tell you that i like xour song all in all. What is special youre verses are all individual ,only little nuances and very "small" changes in the melody, but i like this very much. Then in the Chorus its liekit should be in a good composed pop song: The SUN IS SHINING WITH ITS FULL POWER! Really cool ! This I a nice arrangement . I am a die hard go-go fan, so I loved the drums. There is a good mix of melody that complimented each other into a smooth flow. I love the lead guitar solos as well. This artists versatility shines in this track

I love a great bass line to create a groove and Jardine's is right on. The hook is a piccolo bass( I think that's what it is) because it plays the melody and some great bass rides! The arrangement is unique and very creative. There is a synth part that sounds like Stevie's harmonica and it lends to the recognition factor of a Stevie Wonder tune. I enjoy listening to instrumentalists that are accomplished on their "axe" and Mr. Wilson doesn't disappoint!

I was very impressed by the sound and the feel of this track along with the style and skill of the bassist. Mixed very well, the instrumentation on this one is great. It has an innovative jazz feel that brings back the memories of R&B back in the day and is combined with the new age of contemporary jazz. An outstanding performance on the part of the bassist !!! Great bass line and the keyboards are very cool . The guitar has a great tone to it. The drum is nice and consistent. Nice feel to the song . The push of the keyboards adds a different element to the song.

Nice cover of a Stevie Wonder tune! Surprise comes with the harmony and some doubling of the melody with a harmonica sound. Suggesting the master Stevie himself. The fibrous sound in the intro takes it our of smooth Jazz a tad . Rhythmic interest suggest im hearing a Latin vibe.

This is fine and mellow mood music, easy listening, that invites the listener to relax and sway with the riffs and beats. The bass and drums lay down a solid danceable groove, the synthesizer adds mellowing harmony lines, and the guitar playfully dances pleasing melody riffs above it all. And there are those vocal simulated moments suggesting scat or a conversation that is more rhythmic than lyrical and kind of mysterious.

Nice percussive smooth jazz with masterful bass work. It's kind of atmospheric with wonderful contribution from guitar and synthesizer and percussion/percussive effects. Prominent is the sound of melodeon, (I suspect synthesizer voicing), which is a small keyboard you blow into to produce sound. It sounds like harmonica a bit. I'm thinking the sound used by Stevie Wonder on the legendary Motown tune "I Was Made To Love Her" on the main melody riff. The Melody of "That Girl" (the song being reviewed) is textural-It has textures. It has a vibe. It sets a mood. Overall a very well done track in this genre with some remarkable virtuoso bass work. Nice job on this production.
