For just under 10 years now, Jared Prior has been providing excellent Live Music & Hosting Interactive Entertainment services through out the Western Cape, Johannesburg & Port Elizabeth. Jared Comes highly recommended with his unforgettable Stage Presence & One of the most Versatile Singers in the area. He has Extensive knowledge of music, and over the years I have mastered a broad range of musical Genres & Styles.
Covering the greatest hits of the Century to the favorites of Today, Jared’s Repertoire is close to 1000 songs which is growing by the day, includes Upbeat, Country, Lounge, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Swing, Rock, Swing, Reception and more. He’s performed for audiences of all ages, Big Crowds and different language groups with tremendous response from all present.
Jared grow up in a musically inclined family, and at the age of 3 singing “George Michael “I gotta have Faith” on the tables. Around the age of 21 He entered Talent competition and walked away with 1st Prize and met his Future wife who won 2nd Prize. Together they combined their prize Money to invest in sound equipment to Start their Journey in Music. Jared and Jade formed a Duo Couple named ’Prior Engagement’ and performed successfully throughout the Western cape. Sadly Jade passed away after a long illness at the age of 28.
Jared now performs Solo as “Prior Entertainment” and Since then has grown from strength to strength. He has Performed at over 50 Weddings that he received from word of mouth recommendations, Corporates, Festivals, Markets, Wine estates, Restaurants, Special Events and more.
