June 13th, Jazman "J-Flow" Tolivar was introduced into the world. After the death of his mother, Jean Provost, he was left to be looked after by his father, grandmother, aunts and cousins. "My mama died when i was bout 3 yrs old due to a heart attack and i actually witnessed it happen right in front of my eyes and i remember it like it happened yesterday!" After moving to Houston during the fall of 1993 he was already in preparation of his future. Returning home 3 years later, his unwillingness passion for music began to come into to play when he discovered the ability to create his own lyrics. Heavily influenced by rap pioneers from the east to the west coast, he still had that lousiana mentality. Linking with world reknown producer Dj Toomp , he stayed two weeks in Atlanta recording from dusk to dawn. "Toomp was like....man u kno who u remind me of?" "I said no!
