Song Reviews
It's a nice song
I wish it was a little more happier, someone always cares. but all in all it's nice. The vocal Doubling with harmonies in the third section was a nice added touch. I wish it had started earlier.

Kind of split on this one...
First, lets start with the good. I think the track has a great sort of 80's mellow vibe that resonates well. There are some nice chord changes in there, and the sort of soft straining vocal adds a nice element of emotion to it all. It all kind of flows and feels good in a very simple 80's sort of way, which isn't a bad thing. The thing about it that throws me a bit is that the simplicity and production value is way too low for something in this day and age. The drum parts come off as pre-programmed beats you would get in a consumer keyboard, and much of the arrangement just sort of repeats. The engineering/production of it all is very old style and unremarkable, which is a shame in this day any age. I would love to hear this with real production. I think that it could hit the same nice vibes, but really feel 100x more impactful. I am missing that. That said, I'd be up for hear more from this artist, as I think there is definitely something worthwhile there. It might just need to mature a bit.

Good
Good piano playing. Nice mix and overdubs are smooth. Not the typical music I would normally listen to, but can appreciate the musicianship that has gone into crafting this song. I also can relate to the lyrics which is nice.

"why doesn't anybody care" - nice song!
Hello Jeffrey! Nice to find and listen to " why doesn't anybody care (?)" : ) maybe the principal question in times like these! What a lovely and solid song you wrote! I like the natural warm sound in your song (bass, drums, piano..etc.) and your voice. It feels a bit cautious although determinant and authentic. The song is really good for listening "easy going - laid back". Great!. :) It's a bit dreaming, feeling and floating in different times; some kind of "way of sound" ... all the best! norma

Why doen't anybody care by Jeffrey David
From the intro, I knew I liked this. I like the lyrics and the vocals are melting into the song as it flows and ebbs into feels of meaningful vision. Jeffrey has it down. This is a great song. Nice Piano work, beautiful chords. It's peaceful. Enjoy. Helen Pallis

Melodic massage
Hi Jeffrey. This music is perfect for a lazy Sunday, like today. Your vocals are gorgeous and fit the progression to a T. I'd really like to hear the vocals in the verse come up a little. It seems to be bit too harshly compressed: but the mix itself is clean with a hint of tape, which I enjoy wholeheartedly. I might also suggest the piano featuring during the bridge a little more. A mini-solo if you will. Great stuff. Looking forward to hearing more from you!

Nice Vibe
This song has a nice, smooth Cure-like dark-wave vibe. It is not a song for those who aspire to rock hard by any means (which to those of us who appreciate this style good thing). The track is nice and sparse, although I would like to hear a fuller sounding production, keeping the same vibe. I couldn't hear the verse lyrics as well as I would have liked, but the increased dynamic going into the chorus was a nice touch. Thumbs up!

I have no suggestion
Your music shows character and connects with many people. Keep persistent. Also, consider refining this one some into many during your future endeavors. It may prove beneficial after a moment.

They do care
Actually a very nice sound with some surprisingly good changes as it rolls along. This could easily fall under adult contemporary, or easy listening. Even soft jazz is within its market. The song needs a little work in the mix. Drums could use a bit more presence. The vocal are also a little hard to hear in some places and ther are one or two lines that the vocal loose their strength, and get a little thin. Minor. Flaws that is 90 per ent fixable in mix and mastering

Awesome Mellow Visual Tune!!
Man, great job. This is so groovy. I love the how the lyrics are mixed, nice and mellow, harmonies are awesome. Music is very well crafted and mixed so good. You have a great ear. Love the organ and electric piano. You don't hear music like this much anymore, which is a shame. The dynamics are great. It's just really wonderfully written. Awesome tune!!! Enjoyed it.

I like it
Great song, Jeffrey! All the various facets fit very well together to manifest a soothing sound. I do think you should get to the initial verse sooner. And the song seems a bit under produced. But, as I've stated, I think it's a great song; I love the melody. I also love the hook, which I think needs to be expressed more in the song. I think the song could be mixed better, but, again, that goes back to what I was saying about production. Overall, in my opinion, you have what I would consider the rudiments for a hit song: good melody and hook, well arranged music, voice and music compliment each other. What more do you need other than outstanding production to have a great sound.

Accented verses flourishing
I have a feeling for good music. Best conditions to write something about it. This one is a really great ballad. The piano introduction comes slowly and the keyboard creates immediately a great melody with a soft sounding xylophone. The singer has a unique voice and the intro feels like a story. This is a extra factor what brings really feeling into the song. The accentuel verses flourishing in this songtext and comming from the heart and touches soul. Overall a really perfect arrangement, but the bass is unfortunately slightly overdriven in this recording. That´s especially a distraction when the music starts, but the song definitely is professional and very creative. This ballad reminds also on own problems and is not far away from normal radio hits. It´s worth to listen this song and I´m sure you like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.

Only thing is..
First of all I really liked the song. Thanks you for sharing. (and I'm singing it while writing these) I felt like listening to a romantic hit of the 90's from a-ha, genesis, sting or as more new examples from kings of convenince or Gotye. So it sounds like a ready, stable hit -at least for 90s- But only thing I could say is, might it lack originality a little bit. If some one listens to the song he/she may ask, "wasn't that ... song from 90sm or 80s?" Thank you

Lovely vocals and lyrics
I enjoyed listening to this little number. At first I thought the intro was a bit bland and dull but it all made sense when I heard the vocals, the words are really nice as well, especially in the chorus. Not exactly my cup of tea but I did think a little like this could be a album track for fleet Foxes or Flaming Lips.

Getting To The Point
Great feel to this, very David Gray, it took a while to get started but well worth a listen, oh sometimes I long for the 3 minute pop song to reappear. Impatient I am not but I am going to run out of treadmill, if this repeats itself.

Easy listening
A very soft melodic tune. The calming voice of the singer verses the straight forward lyrics are creating a mixture between sadness and optimism, which leaves a taste of reassurance.
