If it fades, we fade." - Rumi Jenna Lavoie grew up in the small state of Rhode Island where her passion and joy of music had a profound impact on those around her. Jenna began singing at a young age, while singing along in the car with her mother, the sounds of sweet harmonies emerged at only the age of 6. She was a natural.

This musical journey first began on the East Coast. A dream was born as Jenna laid the first stones, which would soon build the bridge that carried her to the spotlight. At age 12 Jenna joined the school choir, performed in talent shows and thus continued to explore and share her enchanting voice. Her voice, a symphony of eclectic melodies began inspiring and mesmerizing those around her.

In 2006, she headed to the San Francisco Bay Area to search for her sound. Jenna was quickly influenced by the sweet sounds of soul and blues. She filled her ears with the classics of Billie Holiday, (expired link).
