Friends, Loves, Supporters, & Fans: Four months into the year, and each day I am thankful and grateful for the support and love I receive on a daily basis. This isn’t long message…just sending some love back to you and sharing some updates. Here we go!! *Okay, so I received my very first award nomination this year, and will be traveling to Atlanta, Ga to [bring back the award] attend the Women in Charg3 Awards Show!! Send me all of the positive energy, love, and light that you can spare. I plan on returning home with the title of Best R&B/Soul Female Indie Artist!! *And speaking of awards *insert drumroll here* I found out today that I have been nominated for a Carolina Music Award!!!! Voting starts MAY 1, 2015 and you can vote here: http://www.carolinamusicawards.com/ And I certainly need all of your help!!! Voting ends July 1, so I’ll be pushing and grinding extra hard to take home that award in July. *I am hard at work writing and creating the music for my Debut EP. As an artist, sometimes you want to just release everything in your head and heart at the same time, but that is impossible. The album would go on for years and have no concept, order story, form, or function. So I’m taking my time and focusing on my heart. I’m doing a lot of praying and meditating. I want to give you concentrated doses of pure energy and pure love and I want you to feel it like I feel it!! The process is the best part, and I can’t adequately express HOW super excited I am to be done and be able to let you take a peek inside of my world and my head and my heart!!
