As a mixed race kid growing up in America, I was exposed to many kinds of music, but folk and indie are my main influences.
I moved to London, became the member of a band called The Big Geraniums and eventually settled in Ireland. We toured Europe and Australia extensively.
Ive always written songs, but between motherhood and work (visual arts) my music gets put on the back burner. Although I'm currently learning violin!
My songs are little notes or reactions to the visual and visceral world both around and inside me.
