Living in Vegas and singing in Lounges as a front man for bands, Terry Wayne has done everything from the Righteous Brothers, James Brown, Garth Brooks, to Michael Jackson and Prince—almost every style of recorded popular music in between. This gave him an appreciation for all sorts and styles of music, running the full gambit from Nat King Cole to present day Ne-Yo, covering: classic blues, Country Western, reggae, jazz, contemporary, R&B, Hip Hop, gospel and Pop.
Terry Wayne is now poised to capitalize on that experience through his writing style. Though American influenced music is dominate in his writing, his travels to Asia and Europe introduce him to the “World Music” sound—it is reflected in songs in his achieves of demos as well. What does one do with such a variety of styles and influences and having a love for all of them? You write from a love for music. Give him the beat/music, or he will make/compose his own, and will make a beautiful song from it.
