About Jessica Sinclair

Jessica Sinclair graduated from Leeds College of Music in 2008, majoring in opera, vocal performance and composition. Jessica received vocal tuition from Christian Immler. Jessica’s repertoire during her time at University was diverse; covering solo oratorio roles; singing in large ensembles, singing with the new music ensemble and the early music ensemble and taking part in the college opera productions. Roles have included chorus in L'incoronazione di Poppea (Monteverdi); Chorus & Barbarina in The Marriage of Figaro (Mozart) and 1st Lady in The Magic Flute (Mozart). While in her third year at Leeds College of Music, Jessica was fortunate enough to have work experience with Opera North. Since leaving Leeds College of Music, Jessica worked as a peripatetic singing and woodwind teacher for the East Riding Schools music service. Recent engagements led to a world premier performance of Barnaby Rudge, based on Charles Dickens’s novel which was turned into a musical. Jessica played the role of Emma Haredale. Jessica is also a keen member of the Bridlington Choral Society and has recently been a guest soloist for the Driffield Male Voice Choir in 2010. Jessica hopes to continue to p
