I wanted to take the time to introduce myself. First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to check out my profile and listen to my songs. I started writing music a few years back. The deal was that I've always been somewhat of a writer. I've always enjoyed writing stories, poems, blogs, etc. I wanted to express myself through the use of my poetry, but I felt like no one was seeing it. I came to the conclusion that more often than not, the majority of people would rather LISTEN to a song or story than READ one... Especially while on a computer. Staring at a bright-white screen for too long is something many would rather not do. That's when I decided to put my thoughts into the form of raps, or maybe even spoken word. My song "I Tried" (my favorite song personally because of the meaning behind it), was originally a poem that I later adapted to a song. I found the right track, let it marinate in my head for a while, added on, hit it with a chorus, played with it a little more and got "I Tried". Everything was done at home, not in a professional studio or anything (as you can definitely tell/hear. -Some more than others), but I wanted to give this "experiment" a real attempt. I used to have a big notebook full of poems, raps, starters, etc. Unfortunatly that book is now gone, but the passion and creativity remain. Although it has been a few years, I do plan on recording more songs, maybe cleaning up what I've already put out (or maybe even [a] remix(es)? I truly thank all of you that have added me.
