While the J Houston Band is proud of our last album of tunes New World Order it was very politically based is origin. We have decided to release an album with a rootsy sound that is less of a heavy sound but still retains the ingredients of the bands sound and writing style. It is called Milestone and I will be adding some material shortly so I hope you will look for this and let me know how you like it. That's hoping you will. Thanks for being a listener and a fan!

I hope that everyone is staying safe through out these difficult times. It has been difficult for many musicians as you can imagine but it has afforded time to work on our new material we will release this year. Please watch for this and take care!

Recent highlights of the band’s career include playing the Toronto Fringe Fest, opening for Carlos Del Junco, and having songs featured on UK’s Colin Nobel’s Unsigned Show and Pete Feentra’s Ready to Rock Show.
The J Houston Band has completed four albums. A song from the second album The Hunter and third album New World Order were included as a feature in Fireworks magazine in the UK. The band has recently completed a fourth album.
