About Jim plemmons

Just an old hillbilly from the Southwest Missouri Ozarks. Born in the 50's, braved the 60's. Won the lottery draft then joined the Marines and spent two years in Hawaii. Married for 46 years to the love of my life and have a lifetime of inspiration to draw on.
I done a little bit of everything from construction, production for 30 years and worked eight years for the Frisco/ Burlington Northern Railroad. But through it all, my music was ever present. I don't know why I threw this in with my work history because music is my passion, it's not a job. I do this because music is inside me and I have to let it out or die. I'm not much of a musician but I do love to tell a story and as far as I'm concerned,
"Every song has a story and every story is a song".
