SJV Productions is my own independently owned and operated music group and production company. I specialize in Living a cultured childhood, born in Danville, IL, Steven Vice aka J-Krone took a notice to music at an early age. At four years old he was entertaining for the regulars at the town bowling alley and cafe in a small midwest town in Illinois. By age 5 he was playing the guitar and experimenting with any instrument he could get his hands on. He explains, "Remembering back, I just love to entertain!"

"Music comes naturally to me, it's like I can hear the words of a song just by playing the beat."

Being an only child and constantly moving from state to state, it was a struggle to survive each day. Throughout his adolescent years he met people from all over the world. Being the new kid at school was getting old and after twenty or more schools, Steven's ability to master almost any craft just wasn't enough to make it through to graduation day. "A GED seemed like the better option to me at the time, the only thing is people look at you differently."

Going through more than most people can handle and seeing things some people never see, he grew up as an only child and was raised by a single mother. Into adulthood and enduring a harsh relationship and unsure on how to cope, his feelings turned into words, and his words into songs. He developed an interest for music and video production, and continued to learn about recording music, beat production, and the music and entertainment industry in general. Almost everything he learned and studied, he researched on the internet! Learning mostly Google and Youtube, to be more specific, he absorbed the information as fast as he could take it in. He said, "One of the best tips I ever got was that you should practice recording your self first before you try to record other talented and more established artists." He also quotes, "It's hard to make a bad vocal sound good but it's easier to make a good vocal sound better."

When it comes to producing, songwriting and performing live, his preference is R&B and Hip Hop music. "When it comes to listening, I listen to almost every genre of music." "I Think everyone deserves to be heard, at least once." "If I don't like it, I don't have to listen to it!"

Presently, he records in a home environment whenever he gets the urge or the time. Brendan Wright aka Big Ride taught him the art and importance of a good delivery and since then his music and sound quality has been getting better and better, along with time and practice of course. Working together in a studio environment whenever they had a chance, they put their skills together to make a popular song called, "Pen Full Of Teardrops" as well as other clever collaborations.

Known to the community as a nuisance but to the streets as a dedicated artist, Steven Vice aka J-Krone continues to strive to critique his abilities, skills, and knowledge of networking in the music and entertainment industry. He currently performs periodically at Studio 25, a local club in Danville, IL. His goal is to travel around networking music music to his fans and is working toward booking gigs at larger venues with a more populated audience. "Sometimes I just want people to understand that this is the lifestyle I want, I've traveled my whole life!"

J-Krone's music has a positive vibe and an uplifting feel to it and his lyrics are packed with emotion! "I just write how I feel at that moment." What it all comes down to is, his love for the art of music is unmeasurable and never ending.
