Hi folks, just wanted to give you a quick catch up. Apologies for not being very active on here, I've taken a bit of a break from social media. Thank you all for your lovely messages of support, it means so much that the songs I have created are getting heard and appreciated. This year I am playing in a covers band - doing lots of great songs from the 70's, 80's, 90's and now. It's a bit of a return to my younger years, when I played in a few different bands. It's meant a new edition to my guitar collection - a beauitful Epiphone Emperor, which has been affectionately named the Pumpkin; and a great new friendship with my band mate Adie. It has helped me reconnect with the fretboard and given my fingers some needed workouts. I will always go back to acoustic and singer songwriter stuff, but at the moment this is a fun change. The band will be doing some acoustic stuff as well and I'm hoping to do some more writing.
