Snowbelt is a mix of musicians primarily from Western New York State and Northeast Ohio. The primary songwriter and member is Joe Cavaretta. The beginning of Snowbelt started with Joe Cavaretta’s album Market Street in 2009. In 2011, the name Snowbelt was adopted in the release of the album Misinformed by the Misinformed. Snowbelt has released it’s albums under Turret Records. Turret Records is an independent record company owned and operated by Joe Cavaretta. Other releases by Turret Records include Northern Spy’s Stare at the Sun released in February of 2015.
