Now, for News, I've written some hard rockin' new songs and have started recording some mean-ass blues cover songs that fall in line with the Title "From Out Of Hard Times" because man, these last 3 years have been unbelievable, and I know so many close friends and people all over who have been having it hard as well. There's been times where we've just barely made it! But hey, we're getting through it. 2024 should be a much better year. I have most of these songs recorded already and they mostly just need to be mixed and finished, so please know how much I much I appreciate your patience as I work to get these songs out to you.

Thank you again so much for giving me the opportunity to offer my music to you, and for enjoying it.
I just received notice through a distribution agency that they've uploaded my song "Love Me Or Tell Me Goodbye" on You Tube! I co-wrote and recorded this song with Stevie Ray Vaughan's Bass player, TommyShannon.
If you have a little time this week, please upload it and check it out. Unfortunately, I don't have a video on it, maybe someday we can get it together for something like that. But the recording sounds clear and excellent! Also, the more hits (or plays) we get on that, the more recognition it fires up, and that will give us more opportunity to get further towards producing more music!

Hey guys, it's me Joe Miranda, your blues Rocker from Houston, Texas.
You know, there's not a whole lot of us real blues players left anymore. I lot of my good friends have been leaving us, Rocky Hill, his brother Dusty Hill, Paul Orta, Bobby Keys, Texas Johnny Brown, oh, I could go on and on, and it's a sad thing, but those of us still doing it will never ever stop. I'm so proud to continue in the traditions I grew up with, and will never quit..
I'm asking everyone that's enjoyed my tunes to party on my music extra hard this weekend, and please don't forget to share..
we've been staying at it, finishing up my new album and have released a couple songs, Ration Care Blues and Blues Medley, and there's several more coming, but the studio's expensive, and i need the songs to be right before I get them to you. So we'll have a couple more later this month. I'm not signed on any label, so It's just me and my band, doing all we can to bring you all we got , straight from the heart.

Salute to all my fans everywhere!
it's me, Joe Miranda and I just want to tell you about my new album with songs I've been working on for some time. This first song is actually 2 heavy classic blues verses, one by John Lee Hooker, the other from Albert Collins from songs I'm covering to put together, then included a Gospel piece that I wrote to blend it together and send a message of a person seeking forgiveness and grieving for ones he'll never see again until the great beyond. I'm calling it Blues Medley with a Gospel Ride Home. - (If Hard Times were brand new Cadillacs! LOL!)
I have good originals coming with it also, and they'll be rolling out very soon.
It's been a really tough last couple of years, but I'm staying loyal and ever faithful to you my fans, and these new songs have been inspired mostly from you guys, after being close to you all and seeing what you like best. So check this one out, I hope you like it.
So I really hope you like them. I'll have several more added on here in the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for them, OK?

Hello All my friends, fans who follow my tunes, fellow musicians, and music lovers who I care for so dearly!
We've been with you here on N1M for 2 and a half years now, and it's been wonderful to say the very least. I have something important to say because I need to honor the memory of my right hand man and Saxophone player,, Smokey Joe Miller. who passed away in August of last year. Of course, I've been devastated over his loss but I feel his spirit very strong, and music is incredible in its power to transform emotions to a joyous state within its own realm. I know excellent Sax players I can continue with, so we'll continue on with great new songs already in the process of being recorded which we'll have out soon
However, I want to talk a little about Smokey so all you my friends can know about this guy's great talent and story. He was from Chicago and grew up right there where all the great blues music took shape in the 50's and 60's with Muddy Waters, Little Waler Jacobs, Willie Dixon. He Played with Howlin' Wolf, and is on Wolf's "London Sessions" album. He plays on most of my songs we recorded, here available for you to hear on this site where we also have songs with Bobby Keys, Rocky Morales, & San Antonio's West Side Horns. Tommy Shannon, Rocky Hill, Tommy Dar Dar, Many others. All of them Kings.... Some really great company.
So rest in Peace my brother, we'll see you on the other side. Clipped on this message is a song we wrote together, Sweatin'Bullits and a photo from one of our last recent gigs. But please keep coming back and you can hear him on all my other songs that don't have a different player like Bobby Keys mentioned. Smokey also played flute on PTSD Blues.

For proof my life's been blessed, I got to play & record with Bobby Keys, man!! ...I was playing with Rex Ludwick, who played w/ Willie, and used to play with Bobby Keys in the 60's with Leon Russell & Jerry Williams out of Fort Worth. We'd just scheduled the session and Rexxy knew he wasn't busy, got a hold of him sent Bobby our pre-production tracks... For only a grand he agreed to fly down from Nashville, and we had a blast! These were my original first take solo tracks. I kept them because we weren't just Jammin, we were duelin! You can hear Bobby Snatch away the solo from me at the beginning, and then the middle of the song, just like playing at a Texas roadhouse on a Saturday night! Also Check out Bobby playing the big fat bass Baritone throughout the song, as well as cool cat DJ T-Bone with the hip record scratches, LOL!!.
This was early, like January 2004. Just a month later he got a call from the Rolling Stones to go away to play their 40 Licks Tour, and the rest AGAIN, is history, baby!!!

Just want to let you all know I just uploaded a few songs I recorded years back but are new to the postings here. I finally got the licensing squared up & paid on them as they are all 3 cover songs by Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, and Shuggie Otis.
I have great artists included w/ me on these cuts. On Gypsy Woman, Stevie Ray Vaughan's great Bass player Tommy Shannon, also the West Side Horns from San Antonio, Bobby Keys on Sax, and the great Tommy Dar Dar on Harp.
On Country Sugar Mama, Tommy Shannon, The West Side Horns, and on Signifyin' Monkey, The West Side Horns and the great Paul Orta on Harp.
Also I'm going into the studio very soon to produce a whole lot more original songs I can't wait to get out there!

Hello Friends,
I just wanted to thank everyone on N1M who's given us a listen, and even more, for being a subscriber to my band, the Kings Of Texas. I've had the great fortune of playing with greats from my state, so they are the Kings, not me. I'm just a song writing guitar player who loves the blues and rockin' Texas style.
Attached is a song I wrote some years back that's been getting some attention from a movie producer, and I just wanted to ask if anyone cares to wish me a little luck, maybe say a quick prayer it can take a hold. The theme of the song, Sweatin' Bullets, is about overcoming love gone wrong, and not wanting to be fooled and lied to anymore. A hell of a spot to be in, trying to encourage those who want to do better.

My buddy Charlie Machado rebuilt the motor on my '72 Shovelhead, Ported out the heads like a drag racer and installed Pan Head pipes! That's right, a Shovel w/ Pan head pipes More torque, more muscle, LOL.. Growls so beautifully, she's on this recording. Runs great to this day. I wrote this song in tribute to Stevie Ray, who used to call his main guitar "First Wife.", Like many bikers I know, and how they feel about their Scooters! Just a lotta love, baby.
