Nice song!
This song has a great message! The mercy of God reaching out, And the love of the Lord is stronger than us, and it is all that we will ever need! He is our hope and our strength! He is our hope ans the one that we adore and the one that we live for, Your vocals are very passionate and the guitar adds a lot to the song. Keep up the good work!!! Keep singing for Jesus and spreading His love to this world!

Psalmist At Rest
Great Beautiful guitar introductions. I like the guitar instrumental to match the power of the lyrics, it is rich enough to match th majestic fervour for His Love and Protection. Reminds me of several scriptures "What can keep me from your love, not width, nor depth nor height..." and the Psalms of King David. Psalm 23 "Now I lie in fields of green...He makes me to lie down in pastures green, He restores my soul" That is why they call His Words The Beatitudes. The lyrics resonate with others, the weakness and the glory of His Strength to restore us when we are weak, His mercy is sufficient for all our needs. I especially like the drums, giving emphasis to all that is spoken. Simple but to the point. I am glad you kept the focus on the words and did not over-emphasize the background music. Your vocals shine though with a heartfelt cry of thanks for the restorative power of God's Everlasting Presence and Love. I find rest in agreement with these words. You are a Psalmist at heart.

Who's love?
Reminds me of Bob Dylan, I can almost hear a harmonica in the tune. My first thought when I heard the song was "I like it", but it wasn't quite sitting with me right. Listening to it again I caught a few things. It has a sound somewhere between "Live" and "Studio" quality to it. That causes confusion. Then the message- upon hearing it for the first time, I thought "Good message", but again it wasn't quite sitting with me very well, then I realized that I was adding assumptions to the song that weren't there, the message was confusing. It's not quite a worship song, it's not quite an evangelistic song, it's not quite... It starts you're with him, then you wander away and fall... then he came and lived in you. Wait, wasn't he living in you before you fell, when you fell... Confusion... sounds like a good strong message, but confusion... You surrendered all your hurt and pain, what about your sins and your life? More confusion, and not once did I hear "Jesus", "Christ" or even "God" in the lyrics. I am assuming you're singing to Jesus because of the genre. I'm sorry, I really wanted to like it but there's too much confusion, and too many assumptions. It's not Kieth Green's "Your Love Broke Through", closer to George Harrison's "My Sweet Lord" when it comes to the message.

I really tried to like this more than I do.
I listened several times trying to figure out how to write you a helpful review. Let's start with the positives. The structure of the tune shows that you get how to write a song. You have verses, choruses, a bridge and deliver it with some dynamics that would make it work in a church setting. Now the other stuff. Performance does not grab me. You have a band backing but perform at the level of a solo acoustic performance. The playing is standard. The singing is strained, at times off key. I have difficulty with this myself and have an auto-tuner to show me where problems are and then naturally try to correct them without the electronics. It's a tool you need to use if you are releasing recordings. Lyrics are a bit myopic and do not excel. The message is fine except that, "What is man that thou art mindful of him" gets reduced to you alone and that is somewhat less than the best face of all mankind, thus giving the unintended impression that anyone else who might be stronger than you also might be worthy of the same praise. The story telling nature of the song keeps it from being a praise and worship tune because it references things you are going through and everyone does not relate, yet it seems that this is the intention since this is where your chorus goes. To fix it, either get more detailed in how God taught you that your expectation of your own strength was wrong and therefore the realization is personal, not general, or get completely God focused and drop the "I" references and the story. It's an ok demo but if I were a worship leader at church asked to consider it, I'd pass unless I wrote the song. If you're a worship leader, you won't get fired for using it, but it wouldn't make the Hillsongs top ten. That's as honest and hopefully helpful as I can be. Keep writing. The song proves you have promise.

Good song
Enjoyed this. I liked the arrangement..use of light and shade and stops to emphasize the words. Off course, being a song about our Lord, the words are very important and this song ticks that box as well. Memorable chorus and an easy song for others to learn. Well done.
